i take my puppy for walks about 15 times a day, each walk lasting 10-15 minutes. She doesn’t pee outside, but the moment she gets inside the house she instantly pees on the floor. What should i do?

@Triamatria Well, she might be reacting negatively to some outdoor stimulus(cold weather, grass, etc.). You might just want to train her to go in a litter box. My aunt did that for her dog because he did the same thing. It actually worked really well.

@Triamatria I’m having a similar issue. I just got my puppy, he’s about 10 weeks old. And he was kept outside in a kennel before I got him. Now at my house, he’s an inside dog. He seems reluctant, even afraid, to go outside at all now! I take him out often, about every half hour/hour depending on his recent activity, for about 10 minutes at a time. But he won’t go potty. Then five minutes inside he’s trying to pee on the floor! I’ve had him four days and I’m already quite stressed over the issue

no. its not. animal cruelty is way not that. this teaches them that its not right. it actually works, and its a method that does not hurt them.

I agree with you infact rubbing thier nose init is an old fashioned way that does NOT work and is a big NO NO.

Step 1. Before you get inside your house tell your dog to pee
Step 2. Use a command like ‘go peepee’. Do NOT say ‘hurry up’ because if you say hurry up to someone, your dog might think your talking to him and will do his business where he is.
Step 3. When she starts doing her business do NOT talk or she’ll stop in the middle of doing her business.
Step 3. When your dog is finished reward them and say ‘good dog’

those pups are SO cute my mom and dad said that I might be able to get another dog when i’m 14 I am going to turn 13 on 6-23-2010 and then I only have to wait a few more months until i turn 14 I don’t know where I’m gonna get my puppy either the humane society or this pet shop WE KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THE SHOP AND THEY DO NOT GET FORM PUPPY MILLS
