Can I give my dog a bath after flea treatment?

Posted by : admin

I gave my dog Frontline Plus for dogs treatment on the 15 of June and today is the 19 and was wondering if it’s okay to give him a bath? Would he still get more fleas if he stays outside but given the treatment?

I believe that 4 days is the recommended time to leave the treatment on, so it should be OK to give him a bath. Just to make sure you should check the package.

Why would you want to leave him outside though?

You can bath a dog 24-48 hours after applying frontline.

This product will kill fleas for 30 days, so he can go outside and if he does pick up fleas they will die. But they can still bite him before they die.
