I got my new dog and after a few hours I started having allergic symptoms?
My symptoms started with a constant headache, swelling of the nasal passage, uncontrolled coughing, and tightening of the throat with a dry itch. After I started receiving these symptoms i took my new dog to a friends house and then I took some Allergy medication. Now that I have removed the dog my nasal passage has opened up and my chest is still soar from the vomiting from the uncontrolled coughing. Can someone help me with this?
I know lots of people who have allergies and still have pets. As your body gets used to being around the dog, the symptoms should get a little better. Take allergy medication every day. Over the counter or dr. prescribed. Follow the directions and it should help alot.

It sounds like you’re severely allergic to dogs, as you said. There’s really not anything you can do. if you’re so allergic that you are vomiting, than I doubt you’ll be able to own a dog.
But if you really want to own a dog, you should own a dog with hair, not fur. Like a poodle or maltese(sorry if you’re not a froo-froo dog lover. I know I’m not. =P) Dogs with hair have much less dander and you may not be allergic to them.

I really don’t know what can we do to help you other than recommend that you should either give the puppy to a friend or in adoption, or maybe try to take it back where you bought it (you don’t give enough feedback) if you get a doctor’s RX I’m sure the pet store / seller will give your money back

Before you purchased the dog, you should have checked to see if you were going to react to the type of animal/breed. Since you did not, the only course left to you is to call the breeder/shelter where you got him and tell them what happened. A shelter will probably not giver you a refund; the breeder might depending on the contract you signed.
Before you get another dog, you need to be seen by an allergy specialist to determine the extent of your allergies. If you were vomiting, then I would say that you are way too allergic to ever live in a house with a dog but I am not an expert. Sometimes, with medication and shots, a person can overcome their allergies.
