"A lot of blood in its feces"….The fact is the puppy is likely to be dying. It doesn’t matter what the cause may be…and it could be so many different things..

if your son had lots of blood in his poop, would you ask John Q public what it could be, or take him to the Dr?

Lets see, worms, the dog ate something that is cuttin up it’s insides, cancer…. That pup needs a vet desperately. Without a vet the pup will probably die. They should use a credit card, arrange for payments, borrow the money, sell something. When they got a pup they also got the responsibility of providing vet care…

Your dog could have worms or needs to get its anal sacs cleaned. The most serious possibility is that your dog could have a tumor. it could also have colitus or an infection

GET YOU DOG TO THE VET IMMEDIATLEY!!!

I hope your son doesn't get seriously ill is this is the type of care his dad gives. It is a helpless animal being left to suffer because nobody wants to fork over the money to take it to the vet? Why not find the dog a home where someone will take care of it?

why would they wait? If you can't afford a vet bill then you shouldnt have an animal. The dog could have worms, an obstruction, just about anything. When a dog or animal does anything violently (sick) they should be seen by a vet. It is not normal.

things could cause that , as in disemper
parvo.or any other disease.

Have you switched his food? Have the kids fed him something? Anything? Even something tiny? Puppies have weak stomachs. This situation can range from something as serious as a viral infection which can kill the puppy, to viral diarrhea which will kill your puppy in time because of dehydration. You need to be careful, especially with puppies, because their systems become very weak very quickly. If he is not eating, vomitting, diarrhea lasts for more than to days, not drinking, or if he is sleeping more than usual and not playing a lot, any of these signs means dehydration. TAKE HIM TO THE VET. The longer you wait, the bigger the vet bill!

When we got a puppy, he had alot of blood in stool – he had Giarrdeaha (spelling is wrong) and worms. It could be other problems as well. You should take him to the vet immediately – I understand Pet Smart Vets are very reasonable so maybe they could take him there – He needs attention now!

Parvo is the only one I know of. I hope that is not the case. It’s a very fatal disease.

Blood in feces is a serious symptom of many things, none of them good, especially in a young dog. Get off the Internet and get to a vet ASAP.
